Project Life: Weeks 1-4

So I started Project Life but I just wasn't digging my layouts. I liked them okay but after I kept seeing all the girls at Scrapfreak using the Becky Higgins' kits I had to jump on board and redo my layouts (thankfully I was only 2 weeks in). I'm still doing digi so I bought Becky Higgins' digital Clementine collection from www.jessicasprague.com. I'm so much happier with the results. I'm 2 weeks behind scrapping my layouts but trying to catch up this week. Anyways, here are weeks 1-4.

Happy Valentine's Day!

After a blah last few days today was a great day. I just wanted to take a moment to count my blessings from today...

January - Twelve on Twelve

Last year I watched several friends participate in a photography project called *Ten on Ten*. Basically on the tenth of every month you take a photo an hour for ten consecutive hours. This year I decided to participate and in honor of the year 2012 a lot of us are doing *Twelve on Twelve*. Without further ado...

[7pm-ish] giving the dogs a treat (Belle always finishes hers first and stalks Buffy, hoping to steal hers)

December Daily

So I ran into a road block with my December Daily layouts. I would start a new layout and get stuck. I tried buying a new kit to work with to see if that would help and nothing. Tried templates and nothing. Finally, I came back to my original kit and decided to use the same neutral paper as my background on each layout and that seemed to work. So the past few days I redid some of my layouts with the new background and started working on new layouts. I'm caught up for Days 1-12.

Pretzel Kisses

I found this recipe on Pinterest and knew right away I had to make it with candy cane Hershey Kisses (I love those Kisses... they are my Christmas crack!)

Anyways, I couldn't find the round pretzels like she used so I just bought the mini twists. After making these I wish I had used the round pretzels because they would have contained the melted chocolate better.

Nevertheless, these are still DELICOUSLY ADDICTING! Kaleigh and I made them for her class party tomorrow. They aren't the prettiest to look at but they are divine to eat. The perfect combo of salty and sweet! I decided to call them Pretzel Kisses; Kaleigh calls them Pretzelascrumptious. LOL
