~I was Googling tonight and came across this. It made me giggle. LOL

~I'm so excited! Hubby bought me an external hard drive for Valentine's but I feared it wasn't big enough so we took it back tonight and exchanged it for a 500GB drive. We also put in another 1GB of memory because Photoshop really bogs down my laptop. I can already tell the difference. We hope to add more memory later but for now I'm happy! I can't wait to load all my photos on the external hard drive tomorrow so I can take it with me this weekend on a scrap retreat. All of my digi scrap stuff is on my laptop but I always have to add photos last minute to take to a crop. Not anymore! Woohoo!

My Sewing Project

Tonight I made some new curtains for my studio. In my old room I had a black and white gingham curtain valance  in the window that I bought at Lowe's. But when I moved to my new room the window is wider so I went back to Lowe's this weekend to get a second valance but I guess they don't carry it anymore. :( Tonight I was at Wal-Mart with Stacey just messing around and I looked at their valances. Nothing black and white but I did find a pair of curtain panels in solid black. So I bought those, brought them home, hemmed them to a valance length, and added white ric rac. A very simple sewing job but I'm quite proud given how little I sew. :) Aren't they cute?

Lunar Eclipse

I totally forgot about the lunar eclipse tonight until my mother-in-law called around 8:30pm. By the time I got my camera setup and found my tripod the eclipse was almost over and the clouds were getting too thick. I only got a couple pictures snapped before the darn clouds completely covered the moon up.

I like this picture but you can't see the redness of the other section. My shutter speed was too fast and seriously the clouds were flying by so I would literally have seconds to try and get a pic in the clearings. I couldn't play around with my settings. Oh well. Guess I'll have to wait til 2010 to get photos of this again.

Freakin' Wii!!!

So we got a Wii for Christmas and I've only played it a few times (mainly it's Brendan and Kaleigh that play). Brendan rented a new game this weekend and it seemed pretty fun so we traded in an old game for it at Gamestop. Anyways, I tried it tonight and I'm hooked! It's Super Paper Mario. I love all the Mario stuff anyways but this one rocks. It's the old school 2D screen where he moves side-to-side instead of all this crazy 3D crap they do these days on video games that I just can't master. I used to love playing Nintendo but video games have gotten so complicated I haven't played in forever. Anyways, 5 hours later (did I just admit that??!?!) I'm turning it off, getting my cheesecake (did I admit that one, too, at 2am in the morning??!?!) and going into my studio to finish a business order that I was going to do earlier this evening after Kaleigh went to bed. Sheesh... ;)
