10 Reasons Why I Love Fall

Since we're in the middle of buying our first home and I will start packing next week, I'm not able to do my fall/Halloween decor this year. Even as excited as I am to finally be buying a house I'm totally bummed that I can't decorate as this is my favorite time of the year to do so. But I can still blog hop and file away ideas for next year. ;) Here are some of my recent faves I've found. :)

Our Day Today

Today, Kaleigh was out of school for Columbus Day so she and I headed up to my parents' to visit. I helped my mom a bit in settling into her new craft room and then we headed over to their neighbors' house to visit their animals. Kaleigh always loves playing with their animals and she even helped pick okra.

One of my mom's retreat guests/friends has a son who welds and he created this sign for the retreat entrance. My parents plan on painting the sign and fence railings a reddish color and putting up spotlights to light it up at night. It looks great!

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to hubby making Thai Gumbo and family movie night, tomorrow my plans include craft/girl time with Kaleigh and Sunday, I want to enjoy visiting with hubby's family for my MIL's birthday!

I got my mojo back!

I haven't scrapped in about 2 months now. I just haven't been in the mood. Well, last night I sat down and started playing and I started pumping out the layouts! Between last night and this morning I created 5 digi layouts. One is a fall one and the other four are for our Galveston 2008 vacation album I'm starting. I love Crystal Wilkerson's new September 2009 Collection. It has beautiful colors perfect for fall pages but I'm also digging it for my beach vacation album! Anyways, it feels so good to create and I just wanted to share. :)

I've Gone Pink!

I'm a couple days late but my blog has gone pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I also do this in remembrance of my Nanny who I lost 2 years ago to breast cancer and to honor my friends who are breast cancer survivors. Remember to do your monthly self exams and take care of those tatas!
