I found this cute little spring craft while browsing blogs. It was cheap, quick and simple to make, and super cute... just my kind of craft! :)
I painted my clay pot with a cream acrylic paint and then distressed the pot a bit by scrapping off paint in several places and rubbing glaze over the paint lightly in a few spots. I've had these paper mache eggs from Hobby Lobby for a couple years now and painted them a blue color and then sprayed with walnut ink. I filled the pot with moss and pressed into the center to form a nest shape. Placed the eggs in and voila!
