Burlap Lampshade Makeover

I bought this floor lamp at a consignment sale a few years ago for my daughter's bedroom. It came with a floppy hat as the lampshade and wasn't my style so I bought this simple lampshade for it with intentions of frou-frouing it up. But I never did. Then I moved it into our bedroom when we moved into our new home. And a couple months ago, after rearranging our living room furniture, it ended up in our living room. I was blog hopping and came across this super cute tutorial for a burlap lampshade and knew that was exactly what I wanted to do.

I love it! Now I need to make some curtains to hang on the windows and that'll help hide the ugly cords/plug on that wall.
