I'm a total (photography) prop junkie. With gearing up to start my newborn photog business I've been setting up a photography studio upstairs in my former (craft) studio. I have started collecting props and putting them in my prop closet.
Here are some recent purchases...
A rocking bench found in an antique store (to give you an idea of size, a newborn will take up the middle third)
A wooden crate found on craigslist
A rusty old milk crate (love all things rusty!) found on craigslist
A ceramic bowl found in an antique store (it has the faintest crackle glaze and I love the turquoise flowers)
An enamelware pan found in an antique store (this might be a hair too small - we'll have to see)
An old reg wagon (this is so cute and small - perfect size for a newborn!)
A unique baby scale found in a junk store (and it has a lever to lock the dial so I can get an accurate weight of baby in the photo)
I also had a few things already lying around in the house that I can use... vintage suitcases, a wire crate, a wooden tray, and a doll bed. I still need more blankets and backdrops and some hats and headbands. But I've got a great collection so far and can't wait to get started!
Thanks for stopping by!
LOVE LOVE LOVE!
